Swiss Valley Trail Races - Peosta, Iowa
The Swiss Valley Trail Races take place at Swiss Valley Nature Center and Swiss Valley Park in Peosta, Iowa. The event offers three distance options and uses a looped trail course set inside the Swiss Valley Nature Preserve.

The course is an approximate 5.2 mile loop that climbs around 750 feet each circuit. The 25K is three loops and the 50K is six loops. The terrain includes creek crossings, steep inclines, and rugged trail surfaces typical of the Dubuque County landscape.
Logistics for participants include free tent camping and showers at Swiss Valley Park and the campground near the start area. Parking is located near the camping and shower facilities, and shuttles run between parking and the start/finish area. Packet pickup is available the day before at a downtown Dubuque location and on race day at the Swiss Valley Nature Center.
The event is part of the No Coast Trail Series. All proceeds benefit the Friends of Dubuque County Conservation, which supports local parks and environmental education. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
