Event overview
The Fillmore 5K takes place on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Fillmore Golf Course in Cascade, Iowa (21655 US-151, Cascade, IA 52033). The course distance is 3.1 miles and is held on the same course used for the local high school cross country meet the previous week.
Race details
The event is a fundraiser for Dubuque County Conservation; all entry fees are donated to Dubuque County Conservation for conservation and trail stewardship. The race is hosted by volunteers and friends of Dubuque County Conservation and will be chip timed by Kauder Racing. Entry price listed is $30, with the price increasing after July 31, 2026 at 11:59pm CDT.
On-course support includes one water station at approximately mile 1.5. The finish area will provide water, bananas, and chocolate milk. Awards are given to the top three male and top three female overall, plus awards for the top male and top female in each age division. Participants receive a super soft tri-blend T-shirt. Parking closest to the start and finish is along Fairway Rd; the start and finish are near the tee box for the third hole on the golf course.
