Event Overview
The Fillmore 5K is a 3.1 mile race that takes place at the Fillmore Golf Course in Cascade, Iowa. The event is held on the Saturday following a High School Cross Country meet and uses the same course. All entry fees from the event serve as a donation to Dubuque County Conservation, supporting conservation and trail stewardship. The event is organized by volunteers and friends of the organization.
Race Details
The race is chip-timed by Kauder Racing. There is one water station located at approximately the 1.5 mile mark. At the finish line, participants will find water, bananas, and chocolate milk.
Awards & Amenities
Awards are given for the top three male and female finishers overall. Additional awards are presented to the top male and female runner in each age division. All registered runners receive a tri-blend t-shirt.
Venue & Parking
Parking is available along Fairway Road, which is closest to the start and finish lines. These areas are situated near the tee box for the 3rd hole on the golf course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
