About the race
Swim Run Jersey is a coastal swimrun event held on Jersey island on Saturday 5 September 2026. The course starts beneath Gorey Castle and follows an anticlockwise route around the island’s shoreline, featuring multiple sea entries and exits shaped by large tidal changes. The event follows international swimrun standards and accepts both solo entrants and teams. It is an official My SwimRun World Championship 2026 qualifier.
Four race distances are offered:
- Intro : 4 km total, 3 runs, 2 swims
- Sprint : 20 km total, 6 runs, 5 swims
- Standard : 33.4 km total, 7 runs, 6 swims
- Full : 53 km total, 9 runs, 8 swims
Mandatory kit includes a swimrun wetsuit (optional for Intro), trainers, a whistle, a reusable cup or bottle, a brightly colored inflated tow float for solos, and the provided race bib and swim cap. Checkpoints are placed around the course; each checkpoint supplies fruit, sweets, crisps, salted potatoes, electrolyte gels, chews and drinks. The route is marked with yellow Swim Run Jersey triangles and swim entries and exits are managed with branded flags and marshals in yellow high visibility shirts. Transport options are available for start and prize giving; public buses serve the finish areas. Prize categories include top male, female and mixed in solo and team classes.
