Swim Run Jersey
Swim Run Jersey is a multi-distance swimrun event held on Jersey’s coastline on Saturday 11 September 2027. The course starts beneath Mont Orgueil Castle and follows an anticlockwise route around the island’s shore, combining open-water swims and coastal runs. The event observes neap tide schedules to manage sea conditions and uses branded flags, marshals in yellow high-visibility shirts, and yellow “Swim Run Jersey” triangle signage on the run sections.
The race offers these distances:
- Intro : 4 km (3 runs, 2 swims)
- Sprint : 20 km (6 runs, 5 swims)
- Standard : 33.4 km (7 runs, 6 swims)
- Full : 53 km (9 runs, 8 swims)
Races are open to solo competitors and teams and follow established international swimrun standards. Mandatory kit includes a swimrun wetsuit (optional for Intro), trainers, whistle, reusable cup or 500 ml bottle (Full), brightly coloured inflated tow float for solos, race bib, and swim cap. Checkpoints supply fruit, gels, crisps, salted potatoes, chews and drinks; cut-offs apply at checkpoints and swim stages.
The event is an official MySwimRun World Championship qualifier. Transport options are provided for start and prize-giving locations, and volunteers receive entry incentives in exchange for full or half day service. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
