About the race
Glow & Go is a waterfront night run on Saturday 31 October 2026 in St Helier. The event uses Trenton Square for both the start and finish and takes runners on two laps of a 5k course through the Waterfront and harbour-side areas. The event includes music on the course and a DJ at Trenton Square before and as runners return. Entry includes a battery-powered glow item and a finisher medal; additional Glow Pack add-ons are available.
The event is limited to approximately 150 runners and is organised by the Trail Monkey team with marked routes and marshals at key points. Safety measures require each runner to carry a working head torch or suitable running light; glow items are provided for visibility but do not replace a running light. Runners must wear suitable footwear and weather-appropriate clothing and keep on the marked route, particularly where the course runs close to open water. The Waterfront remains a public space during the event, so runners must give pedestrians space and follow marshal instructions. Children aged 12 and over may take part; anyone under 16 must run with a responsible adult who stays with them.
Dogs are not permitted. After the run there is an official free after party held separately at Bond Street Social. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
