Sweetwater Independence Day 5K
Sweetwater Independence Day 5K is a community road event held in Sweetwater, Tennessee on Main Street. The course is described as flat and fast, beginning at the town gazebo in the center of town and running down the valley along Main Street. The event coincides with the town's Fourth of July celebration and includes post-race food, games, shopping, and fireworks.

A kids race called the Duck Park Dash is available for children 12 and under. Awards are given to top finishers by gender and age group categories. T-shirts are guaranteed for participants who register by June 4. A virtual race option allows participants to complete their run between July 1 and July 5 and receive a t-shirt; the same June 4 shirt guarantee applies.
Registration opens May 7 and closes July 4. Registration fees are listed for each event. All proceeds benefit East Hills Young Life. Walk-up registration is accommodated on-site around race weekend. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
