Sweetwater Independence Day 5K
The event is held in Historic Sweetwater, Tennessee, on Main Street and begins at the town center near the gazebo. The course is described as a flat route that proceeds down the valley to kick off the Sweetwater Fourth of July celebration. Participants can expect postrace food, games, shopping and fireworks as part of the broader town celebration.
Distances and event types offered:
- Independence Day 5K On Site Run/Walk : 3.1 miles
- 1 Mile Fun Run Kids, called the Duck Park Dash : 1 mile
- Virtual 5K : distance labeled as 5K; can be completed remotely
Registration details include listed opening and closing dates for each event and established entry fees. Fees shown are $35 for the on site 5K, $15 for the kids one mile, and $35 for the virtual 5K. T shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed by June 4.
