Event Details

The Sweetheart Relay takes place on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Savikko Park in Juneau, Alaska. The event is the first race of the year for the organizers.

Course and Format

The race consists of two legs, each one mile long. Participants can run as a pair, with each person running one leg, or as a solo runner completing both miles. The course is an out-and-back route along Second Street, starting and finishing at Savikko Park.

Registration and Fees

Registration opens in person on race day at 9:00 a.m. The entry fee is $15 for adults and $5 for youth aged 18 and under. Members of JTRR (Juneau Trail and Road Runners) in good standing receive a $5 discount.

Additional Information

Post-race refreshments include heart-shaped waffles and raspberries. While not required, participants are encouraged to wear Valentine's Day-themed costumes.
