Swedish Mile Trail Run 2026
The Swedish Mile Trail Run takes place at the Vasaloppet Nordic Center in Mora, Minnesota. This event utilizes the local trail system for a series of timed, rugged trail races and non-competitive activities. The courses are well-marked to guide participants through the natural terrain of the Nordic Center.
Participants can choose from several specific distances:
- 10 km Trail Run
- 5 km Trail Race, Fun Run, & Walk
- 1 mile or 1/2 mile Kid's Races
The 10 km course includes one aid station for support during the run. All participants in the 5 km and 10 km events receive a racer's lunch following their finish. The first 200 individuals to register for these two distances also receive a commemorative gift, which in previous years has included items such as running socks, ball caps, or event shirts.
Children participating in the Kid's Races receive a medal and a snack after their event. The registration system offers a adjusted fee structure for youth athletes aged 17 and under participating in the longer trail events. All races are timed, serving both those interested in a competitive trail experience and those participating in the fun run or walk options.
