Event details
The Sweater Weather trail run is scheduled for October 3, 2026. The event offers two distances:
- 10K
- 5K
Registration opens on May 1, 2026. Early bird pricing is available until June 1, 2026; after that, prices increase by $10. The 2025 edition reached capacity.
The event is presented by Rock On Athletic Balm and hosted by rnest endurance, an organizing group in operation since 2012. A "best sweater" contest will award donated gift cards from Big Bear Trading Company. JK Bakery Cafe will provide pie at the finish line.
Course and location
The course runs through the pine forests of the Canmore Nordic Centre and uses double-track dirt trails. The venue is the Canmore Nordic Centre Stadium near the Main Lodge at 1988 Olympic Way, Canmore, Alberta. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
