Canmore Sunset Run
Canmore Sunset Run takes place on May 16, 2026 at Millennium Park in Canmore, in the Bow Valley. The event offers two trail distances: 5K and 10K.
Hosted by rnest endurance, the base registration is intentionally swag-free to limit environmental impact. Two dollars from every registration will be donated to Heart Mountain Rescue and registrants may add an optional personal donation during checkout.
Every participant receives a full-size Crave cupcake and a selection of cold beverages at the finish area. The event provides professional chip timing with instant results, on-course medical staff, a dedicated hydration and aid station, and complimentary race photos. This is a cupless event; participants must bring their own vessel for refills at the hydration station.
Optional add-ons include a commemorative graphic tee, performance socks, or a medal. Apparel is supplied by Bambū Werx using bamboo fibers; tees and socks ordered before March 20, 2026 are guaranteed, with limited stock afterward. Early Bird registration is priced at $58 (March 1 to April 1) and Standard registration at $68 (starting April 2).
Pre-race package pickup is available at SkiUphill on the day before the event, May 15, with hours to be announced. Precision Fuel & Hydration is the official hydration partner and will be present at aid stations and the finish line. Draw prizes are offered by partners and sponsors.
