Sweat Vs Steam is a running event held along the Murray River through the historic Port of Echuca where participants race a paddle steamer to the finish line. The event offers multiple distances and uses the Scenic Drive route beside the river, with sections on dirt roads.

• 5 km (half lap of the Scenic Drive)

Race bib collection takes place at the Rotunda, Hopwood Gardens, with options for collection on the day or the pre-event collection period. The event is organised so that all profits are donated to support the local community, with funds directed to Echuca Regional Health.
