Event overview
Sweat vs Steam is a running event on Sunday 16 November 2025 in Echuca Moama. The route runs along the Murray River and through the historic Port of Echuca. Participants try to reach the finish line ahead of the PS Pevensey paddle steamer. The 5 km and 10 km courses include Scenic Drive. The 10 km is a full lap while the 5 km is a half lap. Parts of the course use off-road dirt roads along the river. The 10 km course lists an elevation gain of 8 m. Registration is online only; there are no on-the-day entries. Bib collection is organised from the Rotunda at Hopwood Gardens with a pre-event collection option on the Saturday before the race and collection on event day.
