Run Echuca Moama : Community Living & Respite Services
Run Echuca Moama is a community running event held in Echuca Moama on Sunday 2nd August 2026. The course runs along the Murray River, crosses two river crossings and travels through both Victoria and New South Wales. The route passes historic paddlesteamers and the Port of Echuca, and finishes by crossing the Old Echuca Moama Bridge while it is closed to traffic for the event.
The event offers multiple race distances and a junior race, with the half marathon consisting of two laps of the 10 km course. Standard entry pricing applies during the listed registration window and specific entry fees are published for each distance. Funds raised support Community Living & Respite Services’ Opening Doors Project, which builds homes for people with disability and has already provided several homes and units to support independent living.
A community raffle is held with major prizes and proceeds directed to the Opening Doors Project. Volunteers are sought for roles such as course marshals, water stations, on the day registrations, event set up and pack down, finish line duties and event photography. Event merchandise is available through the event merchandise stockist and includes branded shirts, hoodies, caps and other items. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
