Run Surf City 10
The Surf City 10 is a historic running event held in Huntington Beach, California. Established 70 years ago, it is recognized as the oldest race in Orange County and was among the first 10-mile events in the United States. The 2026 edition continues this long-standing tradition along the coast of Southern California.
Participants can choose from several distances:
- 10 Miler
- 10K
- 5K
- Beach Mile
The road courses for the 10 Miler, 10K, and 5K are flat and fast, following the iconic Pacific Coast Highway. These races start and finish at Main Street in front of Pier Plaza, located by the Huntington Beach Pier. The routes provide views of the Pacific Ocean and palm trees throughout the run. The Beach Mile takes place on the sand of Huntington Beach on the day prior to the longer road races.
The event includes an expo and a beer garden for participants. All finishers receive a themed medal and a race shirt. The infrastructure provides parking near the Pacific Plaza vicinity, and the start times for the various road distances are coordinated to allow participants to finish at the pier landmark.
