Event overview
The Superheroes for Autism 5K takes place on April 4, 2026, at Center Missionary Baptist Church, 443 Moffett Drive, Center, TX. The event includes a 5K course that runs through trails and parks in Center. Funds raised will benefit Uniting Pieces, a ministry of Center MBC, to provide resources and assistance to families impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in each category.

Entry, categories and logistics
The 5K is open to ages 13 to 99. The 1.5 mile event is open to all ages. Standard registration fees for the 5K are $30 for adults (18+) and $15 for teens (13-17) when registered with an adult. Registration closes April 3, 2026. Runners who register before March 1 receive a free event t-shirt; registrations after that date receive a t-shirt subject to availability. Participants in the 1.5 mile event may purchase t-shirts while supplies last.
Pre-race packet pickup is available March 30 to April 3, 2026, at Farmers State Bank, 115 Shelbyville Street, Center, TX (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM). On-event activities include late registration/check-in, a meet-and-greet with superheroes, ballpark concessions, and sponsor booths. The 5K will be timed; the 1.5 mile walk, roll, or stroll will be untimed. Race categories include male and female age groups (13-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61+) and wheelchair racers.
