Event Overview
The Super Seattle 5K takes place at Green Lake Park in Seattle on Super Bowl Sunday. This running event is organized by Hi5K and follows a flat course suitable for participants aiming for personal bests. The race supports local food shelters in Washington State, and participants are encouraged to bring non-perishable or canned food items to the designated donation area at the event venue.
Course Information
The race follows a chip-timed route consisting of a single loop. The course primarily utilizes the paved inner path around Green Lake, traveling in a counter-clockwise direction. Near the end of the circuit, the route turns to circle the softball and soccer play fields. The final 200 meters of the course features a slight downhill section leading to the finish line located near the Green Lake Community Center basketball courts.

Registration is open to all age groups. Participants aged 18 and under receive a registration discount. For runners under 18, a parent or guardian must complete the registration and sign the required waiver. Strollers are permitted on the course, but dogs are not allowed due to insurance regulations.
Awards and Recognition
Podium awards are presented to the top three finishers in separate male and female divisions. Age categories for these awards include 1-11, 12-15, 16-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.
