Super Seattle 5K : event overview
Super Seattle 5K is a chip-timed 5K run and walk held at Green Lake Park in Seattle, WA on February 8, 2026. The race is organized as a single 5K event and registration is open to ages 1 to 120. Entry fees listed for the 5K include a general price of $40 and a reduced price of $15 for participants aged 18 and under.
The course uses the paved inner loop around Green Lake and is run counter-clockwise from the start near the Greenlake Community Center basketball courts on the east side. Near mile 2.8 the route exits the inner path and continues around the play fields. The final turn at the "Turn and Burn" corner leads into a roughly 200 meter finish that is slightly downhill. Timing is provided by Bell Lap Productions and official chip-timed results are available.
Race-day operations include bib pickup at the Green Lake softball fields on the east side at the starting line tent; there is no bib pickup prior to race day. Podium awards are given to the top three finishers in each age category for male and female divisions. The event is stroller friendly. Dogs are not permitted due to event insurance restrictions. The race accepts non-perishable food donations to support local food shelters in Washington State and offers scholarship assistance for participants with financial hardship via the race director.
