Event
The Super Seattle 5K takes place on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Green Lake Park in Seattle, WA. The event is produced by Hi5K and lists an entry fee of $25, with a reduced fee of $15 for participants age 18 and under. Registration is open to ages 1 to 120. The race is chip timed; timing is provided by Bell Lap Productions. Podium awards are given to the top three in each age category, with male and female awards presented separately. Age categories are: 1-11, 12-15, 16-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.
Course and logistics
The event uses a 5K course on the paved loop around Green Lake. The start and finish area is at the Greenlake Community Center basketball courts on the east side of the lake. The course follows a counter-clockwise loop on the inner paved path, includes a turn near mile 2.8 to lap the play fields, and has a final left-hand turn with about 200 meters remaining to the finish on a slight downgrade. There is no bib pickup before race day; bibs are available at the starting line tent on race day. The event is stroller friendly. Dogs are not allowed due to USATF insurance and sanctioning rules. Participants are asked to prepare for cold or inclement February weather. Donations of non-perishable or canned food are accepted to support local food shelters in Washington State.
