Super Santa 5K Walk/Run/Wheel 2026 : Amherstburg, ON
The Super Santa 5K Walk/Run/Wheel is a timed 5 km event in Amherstburg, Ontario, with the start line located in front of 52 Richmond Street and activities at Navy Yard Park. Timing and results are provided by W.R.A.C.E. The course begins downtown, turns onto Dalhousie Street, passes Toddy Jones Park, goes through Fort Malden National Historic Park and follows the waterfront to a turnaround at Dalhousie Street and Lowes Side Road. There is one water station on course.
Registered participants receive a full Santa suit (jacket, pants, hat, beard and belt) to keep; returning suit owners receive a discount on future entry. The event includes fundraising prizes with set thresholds and offers a per-person discount for teams of ten or more. The policy states no refunds or deferrals; transfers are subject to a transfer fee.
The "Wheel" category refers to mobility aids such as wheelchairs, mobility scooters and walkers; bicycles and rollerblades are not included. Support persons, if required, receive complimentary entry. After the race, participants are offered a post-race snack before the River Lights Winter Festival opening ceremonies in Navy Yard Park, which include tree lightings and fireworks.
