Super Luke 5K and Kids’ Fun Run
The Super Luke 5K and Kids’ Fun Run takes place on October 24, 2026, at the Goldthwaite Welcome Center in Goldthwaite, Texas. Presented by Luke’s Legacy of Light, the event benefits Cook Children’s Hospital oncology families and is held in honor of a six year old child who was diagnosed in 2018 with medulloblastoma.

- 5K road race
- Kids Fun Run (10 and under)
- Virtual 5K with shirt mailed after the event
Registration opened April 17, 2026. In-person registration closes October 24, 2026; virtual registration closes October 25, 2026. Entry fees listed by the organizer are: Adult 5K (18 and over) $30.00, Youth 5K (17 and under) $25.00, Kids Fun Run (10 and under, with t-shirt) $20.00, Virtual 5K with shirt $30.00.
T shirt guarantee applies to entrants signed up on or before August 28. Late entries will have shirts available for pickup by mid October. Shirts will not be held after December 2026.
Participants are invited to dress in superhero or Halloween attire. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes. Race awards are given by male and female age divisions: 12 and under, 13 to 16, 17 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 to 79, and 80 and over.
