The Super Bowl 5K takes place on February 8, 2026, in Lansing, Michigan. The course runs through Downtown Lansing with the start and finish located in front of the Michigan State Capitol Building. The event is organized as a run/walk and uses chip timing; each participant receives an accurate chip time and overall and age-group place via text and live results immediately after finishing.
Entry, race kit and awards
Entry pricing varies by date: $30 until December 31, $35 from January 1 to February 1, $40 from February 2 to 7, and $45 on February 8 (race day). Participants aged 18 and under receive a $5 discount applied during registration. Registrants receive a race t-shirt, a commemorative race bib, and a finishers medal; shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed by February 1. Finishers medals are available for the first 500 participants. Overall awards include a Playmakers gift certificate for male and female overall and master (over 40) winners. Age-group awards are offered in multiple categories from 12 & under up to 80+. Proceeds and donations support the Michigan Running Foundation grant program for youth running in Michigan; the fundraising display shows $60 raised of a $2,000 goal.
