Super Bowl 5k : Lansing
The Super Bowl 5k is a community 5 kilometer run and walk held in downtown Lansing with the start and finish located on Capitol Avenue directly in front of the Michigan State Capitol Building. The course is two loops and uses chip timing to provide accurate finish times and live results that are texted to participants.
Packet pickup is available the day before at Central United Methodist Church, 215 N Capitol Ave, and on race day at the same location. Participants may pick up packets on behalf of family or friends. Organizers note there is ample free parking in downtown Lansing on the day before the event.
Registration includes a race t shirt, a commemorative race bib, and a finishers medal for early entrants while supplies last. Shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed by Sunday, February 1; finishers medals are provided to the first 500 participants. Entry fees vary by registration date and an age discount applies for participants 18 and under.
Awards include Playmakers gift certificates for Male and Female Overall and Master winners and age group awards across standard age brackets.
