Sunset Starter 5K
The Sunset Starter 5K is a female only, untimed 3.1 mile run held at North Lakes Park in Denton on July 26, 2026. The event is organized by Girls Who Run DFW and provides a finisher medal to each participant who completes the course.
Registration opens June 16, 2026 and closes July 25, 2026. The registration fee is $25. No transfers or refunds will be offered because medals and event expenses are arranged in advance. Participants must complete the event in order to receive a finisher medal.
For safety, the course has a 1.5 hour cutoff and all participants must finish before dark. Participants are responsible for their own water and any personal lighting such as a headlamp if they wish to use one.
