Sunset Loop - 6 Hour Endurance Event
Sunset Loop is a six hour endurance running event held in Cheam Park, Sutton. Participants run a looped course and aim to complete as many laps as possible before sunset. The course uses established park paths and is approximately 1.5 km per lap.
The format allows participants to move at their own pace and to start, stop, or rest at any time during the six hour window. A central race hub is available each lap. The course is fully marked and live lap tracking and timing will be provided. Water and basic refreshments will be available at the hub and first aid cover will be present.
The park remains open to the public while the event runs. Parking is available in nearby public car parks. The event is open to all abilities and the loop is suitable for running and walking, but participants should be prepared to be on their feet for extended periods and to manage their own hydration and wellbeing.
