Sunrise Run - Lloydminster

Date and Location
The Sunrise Run 2026 takes place on Saturday, May 9. The start and finish line for the 5 km and 7 km events is located in the Synergy Vault parking lot behind Holy Rosary High School in Lloydminster.
Available Races
The event features several race options:
- Kids Mini-Mile: An indoor dash inside the Synergy Vault for youth under 10, with distances tailored by age group.
- 5 km: A run or walk course.
- 7 km: A run or walk course.
- Kids Mini-to-Mighty Challenge: For kids under 10, combining the Mini-Mile and the 5 km with a parent or guardian.
Registration typically includes a t-shirt and a medal. "Green Bib" options are available for the 5 km and 7 km races, allowing participants to forgo the t-shirt so a larger portion of their fee goes to the charitable foundation.
Fundraising
The net proceeds from the event go to the Lloydminster Region Health Foundation to fund mental health projects in the community. Additional donations can be made during the registration process.
Registration and Kit Pick-up
Registration opens on Thursday, February 12. Race kit pick-up is available on Friday, May 8 at Holy Rosary High School, and on Saturday, May 9 at the start line before the races begin.
