Synergy Credit Union Sunrise Run 2026
The Synergy Credit Union Sunrise Run 2026 is an all-inclusive event held in Lloydminster, starting at Holy Rosary High School. This community event features various walking and running distances designed for participants of all ages and abilities. The central hub for the activities, including the start and finish line for the main events, is located at the Synergy Vault parking lot.
The event offers several participation options:
- 7 km Run or Walk
- 5 km Run or Walk
- Kids Mini-Mile (indoor event)
- Kids Mini-to-Mighty Challenge (combination of Mini-Mile and 5 km)
The course features music stops throughout, and finishers receive a medal as well as snacks and beverages at the finish line. For the 5 km and 7 km events, a "Green Bib" option is available for those who choose not to receive event merchandise, allowing a larger portion of their registration fee to support community mental health projects.
The Kids Mini-Mile takes place indoors at the Synergy Vault. This dash is organized by age groups: children under 5 travel 30 yards or less, children under 7 complete one lap, and children under 10 complete two laps. Strollers and wagons for children are permitted on the course. All net proceeds from the event are directed to the Lloydminster Region Health Foundation to fund local mental health initiatives.
