The Sunrise over Cecil event takes place on Sunday, April 12, 2026, in Huntsville, Alabama. Participants can choose from two distances:

Course Information

The 10K course is a certified route. It features significant elevation change, with nearly 1,000 feet of gain and descent. The 4-mile course goes to the top of Cecil Ashburn Drive. Roads are officially closed to through traffic during the event. A 2-hour time limit applies to both races.

Registration and Participation

Registration for each distance costs $50 and closes on April 10, 2026. Participation is capped at 500 total entrants. All participants receive a Brooks technical shirt and a finisher medal. A post-race party is planned. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
