The Sunlight Showdown
The Sunlight Showdown is a trail race series taking place from Saturday June 27, 2026 to Saturday September 19, 2026 in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The event uses trails around Sunlight Mountain and Babbish Gulch and is based at Sunlight Mountain Resort, 10901 County Road 117, Glenwood Springs, CO 81601.

- 5k Trail Run
- 10k Trail Run
- Half Marathon Trail Run
Event logistics vary by distance. Bib pick up is at the main lodge at Sunlight Mountain Resort; times listed for bib pick up differ by event. The 5k and 10k offer day of registration on the event day during a limited morning window. The half marathon does not allow day of registration. The half marathon has one aid station at mile 8.5 supplying water and an electrolyte mix. The 5k and 10k are listed as having no aid stations.

Early and later registration periods are specified for the three races, and a 15 percent discount is offered when registering for all three races at once.
