Sunlight Showdown
The Sunlight Showdown is a trail race series held in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, at Sunlight Mountain Resort and on trails including Babbish Gulch and Sunlight Mountain. The series runs from June 27, 2026 to September 19, 2026 and comprises three separate race days.

- 5k Trail Run
- 10k Trail Run
- Half Marathon Trail Run
Event dates are listed as: the 5k on June 27, 2026; the 10k on August 22, 2026; and the half marathon on September 19, 2026. Registration opens April 3, 2026 and prices vary by event and registration period. There is a 15% discount available when registering for all three races together.
Participant logistics vary by event. Bib pickup takes place at the main lodge at Sunlight Mountain Resort; times are 8:00 to 8:45 am for the 5k and 10k, and 7:00 to 7:45 am for the half marathon. Day of registration is available for the 5k and 10k only, within a limited time window; there is no day of registration for the half marathon. Aid provision differs by distance: there are no aid stations on the 5k and 10k courses, while the half marathon includes one aid station at mile 8.5 offering water and an electrolyte mix.
