Sundowner 2026
Sundowner 2026 is a summer evening community running event held in Marbury Park on 8 May 2026. It continues Comberbach village's annual fun run tradition and is organised by the Comberbach Fete Committee. The event supports The Stroke Association, the charity nominated by this year's Rose Queen.
Races take place on the paths and trails of Marbury Park, with the start and finish located near the ranger's office by the park's main entrance. The races are gun timed and results will be published online after the event. Amenities on site include a BBQ, bar, cake stall and music.

- 1k children's fun run
Entry details state pre-entry prices and a later increase in fees; entries close on 6 May 2026 and there are no entries on the night. There are no refunds; transfers are handled by the organiser. Prizes include medals for all finishers, category prizes for the 1k and 5k, and a discretionary family prize. Dogs on leads and canicross participation are welcome.
