Event Details
The Summit View Hyrox Race Sim is a fitness race simulation based on the HYROX format. It takes place at the Summit View Shelter on Pleasant Breeze Road in Rocky Mount, Virginia.
Event Format
The event simulates a full HYROX fitness race. The format includes multiple heats for three competition categories: Individual, Doubles (teams of two), and Relay (teams of four).
For Individual and Doubles competitors, each round includes a 1000 m run. Doubles teams may split the workout zones between teammates. In the Relay category, each team member completes two running laps and two of the HYROX workout zones.
The Course
The event consists of eight intervals of 1000 m running, each followed by a functional fitness station. The stations, in order, are:
- 1000 m Ski Erg
- 50 m Sled Push
- 50 m Sled Rope Pull
- 80 m Burpee Broad Jump
- 1000 m Row Erg
- 200 m Kettlebell Farmer's Carry
- 100 m Sandbag Lunges
- 100 Wall Balls
Participant Perks and Awards
All finishers receive a medal and a shirt. Awards are given for the top times in each division. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
