After finishing, participants walk down to the parking area by the starting point. A donation from race proceeds supports Kestrel Land Trust.
Awards include cash prizes for first overall male and female, age group awards and Atkins Apple Pies for age group winners. Age divisions start at Under 9 and progress through 5 year groups for ages 65 and older. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
