Summer's Last Kick
Summer's Last Kick is scheduled for August 1, 2026, at Prescott Mill and Townsend Park in Oswego, Illinois. The event is the third annual running and walking event held at this location. It offers a short distance run/walk and a 5k run/walk and welcomes participants of all ages.
Participants may register in advance; registration opens June 7, 2026 and closes July 5, 2026. Fees listed by event are available at registration. Packet pick-up and on-site registration occur at Townsend Park on race day. Plenty of street parking is available around Townsend Park with no parking fee.
Walkers, strollers, and leashed dogs are allowed; they will start behind runners. Volunteer opportunities are available; interested people should contact the race director.

- 1 Mile Run/Walk registration fee $15
- 5k Run/Walk registration fee $30
Awards are given by race and age group. Trophies are awarded to overall first place male and female finishers. Medals are awarded 1st through 3rd in the specified age groups for each race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
