About the race
The Summer Solstice Fell Race is an annual off-road running event held at Merrivale on Dartmoor, offering stunning views of the Dartmoor landscape. The senior race covers 9.5 km, featuring challenging terrain including steep climbs to Middle Staple Tor, a ridge run past Higher Staple and Roos Tor, and a fast descent from White Tor. The course is marked to protect wildlife and avoid the firing range, with potential adjustments for weather.
