Summer Solstice Fell Race

The Summer Solstice Fell Race, part of the Dartmoor Fell Series, is held at Merrivale on Dartmoor, starting near the Dartmoor Inn. The senior race covers 9.5 km over challenging terrain, including steep climbs to Middle Staple Tor and Roos Tor, ridge running, and a fast descent through valleys and streams. The course is partially marked to protect wildlife and avoid the firing range, with the possibility of shortening in bad weather.
