Summer Fun Run Series - Greenbelt
The Buddy Attick Summer Fun Run Series is a free weekly run and walk series organized in partnership with the Greenbelt Recreation Department and PGRC. Events run from July 9 through August 13 and take place at Buddy Attick Park with meeting at the Greenbelt Youth Center parking lot, 99 Centerway, behind the library.
Participants may choose between one lap or two laps of the shaded lake path. A single race bib is assigned and used for the entire series. Registration is handled on site before each event. The series is part of Get Active Greenbelt and is offered at no charge.
Races are subject to a weather cancellation policy: events will be cancelled if there is lightning in the area after 6:30pm. Cancellations will be communicated by PGRC.
Volunteer roles are used to support the events and include registration, course marshals, water stop, popsicle and ice supplier, setup, and cleanup. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
