Summer Evening 10k - Reigate Priory Park
The Summer Evening 10k is a chip-timed 10 km road and off-road race held in and around Reigate Priory Park. The event is the 32nd edition and takes runners along an undulating, multi-terrain course that includes country lanes and finishes back in Priory Park. The event is licensed by England Athletics (licence number 31048) and is held under UK Athletics Rules for Competition. Minimum age for entry is 15.
Entries are charged with different rates for those with a UKA competition licence and unattached runners, and a late, on-the-day fee may apply subject to the race limit. Race numbers and timing chips can be collected either on the evening before the race at the RPAC training session if entered before the deadline, or on race day from the outdoor Race HQ near the tennis courts and skate park (approximate postcode RH2 7RL).
Water is provided in cups at an on-course drinks station at about 5k and again at the finish. Portable toilets will be located close to the Start/Finish. A bag drop is available near the Start; items left are at the owner’s risk. The undulating nature of the course makes it unsuitable for wheelchair athletes.
Every finisher receives a commemorative memento and finishing times may be texted to entrants who provided a mobile number. Photographs will be taken and made available for download; requests for image removal can be made to the organisers. Prizes are awarded across individual age categories and team placings, with awards based on gun times. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
