Sully Freedom Fun Run/Walk
The Sully Freedom Fun Run/Walk takes place on July 4, 2026 in Sully, Iowa, marking its 31st year. The event is set at Sully Town Square, 6th Ave and 4th St, and the course runs through relatively flat, tree-lined streets of the town.

There is a free kids race for children age 8 and younger. In the 1 mile event, plaques are awarded to the overall male and female winners. In the 5k event, plaques go to the top three male and top three female finishers, and medals are awarded to the top three finishers in each of 11 age categories.
Registration opens May 21, 2026 and closes June 15, 2026. Registration fees listed for the events are $15.00 for the 1 mile and $20.00 for the 5k. A T-shirt is guaranteed for registrations completed by June 14; registrations after that date receive shirts and sizes on a first-come, first-serve basis and are not guaranteed.
