Event Overview
The SueB 5K is an annual event held in Boise, Idaho, to honor the memory of Susan "Sue B" Newby and to raise awareness for domestic violence. The event, now in its 17th year, serves as a fundraiser for the Women's and Children's Alliance (WCA) Endowment Fund. These funds support ongoing services and programs focused on safety and healing from domestic abuse and sexual assault.
Course and Facilities
The race takes place at Julia Davis Park, with the start and finish line located on the pathway between the Rose Garden and the Boise Art Museum.

The route leads participants onto the Boise River Greenbelt, traveling east along the north side of the path. An aid station providing water is positioned at the halfway point near Kristen Armstrong Park. After reaching the turnaround point, runners and walkers return along the same path to finish at Julia Davis Park.
Additional Features
A community resource fair is held on-site, offering the public an opportunity to learn about various local support services. Registered participants receive a commemorative t-shirt if they sign up by the specified September deadline. Packet pickup options are available in the days leading up to the race at various locations in Meridian, Nampa, and Boise, with limited registration and pickup available at the park on the day of the event.
