Strides For The Silenced 5K
Strides For The Silenced is a community 5K held at Taylor Creek Farm on September 12, 2026. The event is presented by a group of anti sex trafficking organizations from the greater Louisville area to raise awareness and share information about human trafficking. The format includes running, walking, and crawling options labeled as a 5K Run, Walk, Crawl and is described as family friendly with free admission.
Representatives from participating organizations will be on site to explain their roles, offer educational information, and outline ways community members can become involved in local efforts. The event includes activities and opportunities geared toward families and community learning. The program references Proverbs 31:8 and frames participation as part of a broader local effort to support trafficking victims and survivors.
Registration for the event is open from July 1 through September 10, 2026. The organizer list includes several local anti sex trafficking groups and service partners operating in and around Louisville. The event materials also present basic facts about human trafficking and note the global scale of the issue as reported by international authorities.
