Strides for Sight 5k Run/Walk
Strides for Sight is a community fundraiser organized by AURORA with the Baldwinsville Lions Club in Liverpool, New York. The event combines in person and virtual 5K run and walk options and includes a separate children's 5K for ages 0 to 5. The in person 5K is a timed run/walk.
The event takes place in Liverpool at 3858 Long Branch Road on June 27, 2026. Registration opens in late March or early April 2026 and closes in late June 2026. Registration fees for the 5K and the virtual 5K are listed at $35.00. The children's 5K is free and those registrants will not receive a T shirt.
After the runs, an Activity Zone will be available with family friendly games, local organizations, and arts and crafts. The event aims to raise awareness about vision loss and to share information about services and resources that support people living with visual impairments in Central New York.
