Striders Trail 5 - 2026

The Striders Trail 5 is a trail running event organized by St Helens Striders. Scheduled for Sunday 1st November 2026, the race follows various paths and trails located in the St Helens area. The event starts and finishes at the Sankey Visitors Centre on Blackbrook Road.

The course utilizes the local trails favored by the club and offers participants the following distance:

The event has a maximum capacity of 250 participants. Registration is open to individuals who are 15 years of age or older on the day of the event. Entry fees are tiered based on whether the participant is affiliated with UK Athletics (UKA) or is unattributed.

Parking at the Sankey Visitors Centre is very limited. The organizers recommend that attendees car share where possible to reduce the number of vehicles at the site. Local participants are encouraged to walk or cycle to the start line to further alleviate parking pressure. Online registration for the 2026 edition opens in December 2025 and is available until the end of October 2026 or until the participant cap is reached.
