The Engineers Without Borders (EWB) at UIUC - 5K Stride for Sustainability is a community run/walk event on Sunday, April 19, 2026. The event raises funds for international infrastructure projects. It is the 4th annual edition.

About the Organizer
The event is organized by Engineers Without Borders UIUC, a student-led nonprofit. The group works on infrastructure projects in communities in Malawi, Rwanda, and within the United States. Specific projects supported include a bridge project in Chilaweni, Malawi; a water project in Kamonyi District, Rwanda; and a drinking water project in Woodford County, Illinois.
