Stride for Sight
Stride for Sight takes place on April 25, 2026 in Lacey, Washington and is hosted by local Lions Clubs. The event starts at Horizons Elementary and continues onto the Chehalis Western Trail. It offers multiple distance options and the 5K and 10K courses are USATF certified. Walkers, runners, and wheelchair rollers are welcome. Strollers are allowed for the 1 mile option only. Trained service animals are permitted; pets are not allowed. One hundred percent of event proceeds benefit the Lions Low Vision Resource Center in Olympia, Washington.

Registration and fees for the 5K and 10K are tiered: registering by March 31 costs $35 and registering beginning April 1 costs $40; registering by March 31 guarantees a T‑shirt in the chosen size. The 1 mile family option is free, includes fun prizes for children, does not include a T‑shirt, and a T‑shirt can be purchased for $10. Registration for the 1 mile closes April 23, 2026. Blind and low vision teams and individuals are welcome; there are no registration fees for guides. Donations are tax deductible through the Olympia Host Lions Club Foundation.
