Stride for a Cure - Little Rock
The 3rd Annual Stride for a Cure is a community 5K Walk/Run held on October 3, 2026 in Little Rock, Arkansas, at 521 President Clinton Avenue. The event brings people together to honor survivors, support those currently fighting breast cancer, and raise awareness about prevention and early detection.
Distances offered:
- 5K Fun Run/Walk no chip timing
- 5K Competitive Run chipped timing
- 5K Girl Scout Fun Walk 18 and under, access code required
Registration options include a standard fee for the 5K and a reduced youth rate for the Girl Scout walk. Participants who register by September 1 will receive an official race day shirt. Awards include overall trophies for 1st place male and female, finisher medals available at the finish line, and post-race snacks, refreshments, and entertainment. Packet pickup is scheduled for October 1 and October 2 at A Kick Above - Personal Training Studio, 12400 Cantrell Road #3, Little Rock, AR 72223, with additional early pickup available on race day.
The event is organized by the owner of A Kick Above, a breast cancer survivor with a background as a pharmacist and personal trainer. Net proceeds benefit the Arkansas Cancer Coalition; current fundraising shows $9,408.30 raised toward a $25,000 goal and 1,120 participants listed.
