Strawberry Fields Forever
Strawberry Fields Forever is a loop race based at the North Bonneville Ball Fields on Strawberry Island in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. The course is a 10 km loop that runs through field, forest, and along the Columbia River on dirt and graveled trail with roughly 200 feet of elevation gain and 200 feet of elevation loss.

The start and finish are at the North Bonneville Ball Fields where participants are counted by a chip mat and can access aid and on-site support. There is a single aid station reachable every 6.2 miles that supplies items such as peanut butter and strawberry jam sandwiches, water, electrolytes, sports bars, and pizza. Runners may set up a tent in the park for gear changes or rest. The course passes three bathrooms, with a short detour to a fourth.
Runners may earn awards for the distance they sign up for within a 30-hour event limit; the 100-mile distance equals 16 loops. Runners receive a medal only for their registered distance and may change their distance up to the Friday before the event. Food and drink will be available throughout the full 30 hours and there may be music or informal entertainment.
