Stratford Triathlon - Stratford Leisure Centre
The Stratford Triathlon takes place at Stratford Leisure Centre in Stratford upon Avon on Sunday 18th April 2027. The event is in its 32nd year and combines pool swimming, road cycling and riverside running on a spectator friendly course with the main transition and finish area at the rear of the leisure centre.
Swims are held in a heated indoor pool with a 33 metre length. Competitors must count their own pool lengths and laps on the cycle and run. The bike course is one 18 km lap through Warwickshire countryside and is described as flat. The run follows the towpath alongside the River Avon on a lapped, flat route. Electronic chip timing is used and all finishers receive a medal. Wearing a cycle helmet on the bike section is compulsory. The event is open to a wide range of participants and there are no cut off times.
Relay teams may consist of two or three people, with each member completing one or two disciplines and passing the electronic chip in transition. The CRUK Wave is a non competitive option that donates £10 from each CRUK Wave entry to Cancer Research UK.

- Sprint: 400m swim, 18km cycle, 5km run. Age 16 years.
- Super Sprint: 200m swim, 18km cycle, 2.5km run. Age 16 years.
- Fun: 200m swim, 18km cycle, 2.5km run. Age 16 years.
- Sprint Relay: 400m swim, 18km cycle, 5km run. Age 16 years.
- CRUK Wave: 200m swim, 18km cycle, 2.5km run. Age 16 years.
