The Stonington Cross Country 5K takes place on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at Stonington High School, 176 South Broad St, Pawcatuck, CT 06379. The event includes the following distances:

Entry price for listed events is $0. Registration for the 5K opens December 4, 2025. Registration for the Children's 1/2 Mile ends August 12, 2026. The Children's 1/2 Mile is open to ages 10 and under. Additional race information is available from the Westerly Track Club. The Town of Stonington Parks & Recreation Department is listed as a co-host.

Course

Registration and the course start are on the track. After one loop on the track, the route continues about 1/2 mile on quiet dead-end streets on the school campus, then moves into trails that include a mix of single-track and double-track. The course exits the trails onto grass running surfaces, crosses a bridge, and finishes at the 50-yard line on the track. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
