Stonewood Vol. Fire Dept. 5 Alarm 5k

The Stonewood Vol. Fire Dept. 5 Alarm 5k takes place on Saturday, August 1, 2026, in Stonewood, West Virginia (8081 Plainwood Ave., 26301). The event is organized by the Stonewood Volunteer Fire Department to raise funds for purchasing and maintaining equipment used in community service.

Entry fees listed are $25 for the 5k and $30 for the Virtual 5k. Registration for the 5k closes July 31, 2026. Virtual registration opens January 31, 2026. A course map is available via MapMyRun.

Awards and extras

Awards are planned for the top three male and female finishers in the following age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+. There will also be awards for the top three overall male and female finishers. The first 100 entries will receive an event-themed challenge coin (official 2026 design). Race T-shirts are offered as a $25 add-on and are available with registration until July 3, 2026. Custom bib design is to be announced.
