Stone Harbor Turtle Trot 5K and 2-Mile Fun Walk
The Stone Harbor Chamber of Commerce presents the 26th Annual Turtle Trot, held in Stone Harbor, New Jersey on May 24, 2026. The event includes a measured 5K run and a separate 2-mile fun walk that is untimed and non-competitive.
The 5K uses a course through Stone Harbor's scenic residential neighborhoods and is described as a fast layout. Prizes will be awarded to the top three men and the top three women overall, and medals will be awarded to the top three men and top three women in six age categories. Awards will be available for pick up at the Chamber of Commerce in the afternoon of race day after results are posted.
A portion of event proceeds will be donated to the Diamond Terrapin Program at The Wetlands Institute. All registered participants receive a Turtle Trot t-shirt while supplies last. Results will be posted to the event registration site and linked to the Stone Harbor Chamber of Commerce Facebook page.
The event is scheduled to take place rain or shine. There are no refunds if the race is cancelled due to dangerous weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances.
