Stone Harbor Triathlon
The Stone Harbor Triathlon takes place on Sunday, July 12, 2026, in Stone Harbor, New Jersey, with the event base at 9001 Sunset Drive. The entry fee is $165 and includes event insurance and a race day movie; instructions for obtaining the movie will be sent by email after the race.
The race consists of three legs:
- 1/4 mile swim
- 11 mile bike
- 5K run
Packet pickup and an optional bike inspection are advised the day before the race at the local fire house. Waves are organized by gender and age; elite athletes are preselected and all waves start in the water. Results are posted online within 24 hours.
Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in age divisions, which include 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 plus. Additional awards recognize top fire/rescue/police, lifeguards, Clydesdale/Athena categories, and top swim/bike/run splits. A $250 cash prize is offered for breaking the course record.
Stone Harbor is approximately 30 miles south of Atlantic City and is accessible via the Garden State Parkway Exit 10. Parking on adjacent streets is limited; additional parking is available at the municipal pier and marina. All entry fees are final; no refunds, transfers, or credits are permitted.
