Stomping Down Barriers for Mental Health
The event takes place on August 9, 2026 in Strathmore, Alberta, Canada. It is organized by the Town of Strathmore and FCSS to raise awareness of mental health issues. Five dollars from every registration will be donated to the Strathmore Elks Mental Health Project.

The 5K follows the canal pathway to Kinsmen Park and back. The 10K travels along the canal to Kinsmen Park and Gray's Park before returning. The half marathon route will be published later; it is described as flat and fast and will pass through the color portion used by the 5K. Portions of the course will feature colour stations and music; participants are advised to wear a white shirt. Additional colour packets are sold in the event store.
Virtual entries can be completed any time before or on the in-person event day; the deadline to submit results is August 9, 2026. Sponsors and partners include Running Room, Town of Strathmore, FCSS, and Strathmore Elks. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
