Stokelan Estate Haunted Wine Run 5k
The event is a chip timed 5k run and walk held at Stokelan Estate Winery, 52 Eayrestown Rd, Medford, NJ. The route runs through the vineyards and is described as mostly cross country style with two laps that start and finish at the winery. Organizers note the course is scenic and not optimized for personal best 5k times. Walkers are permitted and participants may exit after the first lap instead of completing the second.
Registration includes a super soft ring spun cotton T shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal, and a race bib. Results are posted online and each participant receives a pour of wine; minors who register receive a shirt, medal, and bib but do not receive a wine glass or a glass of wine.
Age group awards are offered for ten year categories: 19 and under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 to 79, and 80 and over. Competitive runners should start with the first group to be eligible for age group awards; awards are available only on the day of the event and must be picked up at the registration table if earned.
Packet pickup is race day only and opens one hour before the event. The event lists Nik’s Wish as its charity partner. Dogs are not allowed on site and strollers are permitted though not recommended due to uneven ground. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
