Elf 'N' Cocoa 8K/5K & 1 Mile Fun Run
This event takes place at Riverwinds Community Center in West Deptford, NJ, and supports the HEADstrong Foundation. It offers three distances and a mix of timed and non-timed options on a paved, waterfront course with views of Philadelphia.

The 8K and 5K are chip timed with live results and include awards for top male and female finishers. Awards include top three overall and top three in age groups such as 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, and subsequently in 10-year increments. All finishers receive a medal and a custom cocoa mug, and registered participants receive a cup of hot cocoa from Death of the Fox Coffee House at the finish.
The 1 Mile Kids Run is a non-timed course for young participants and includes a finisher medal and an Elf n Cocoa custom beanie; registering by 12/2 guarantees the beanie. Parents may accompany a child without registering. Walkers are welcome in the 5K but must register and start behind runners. Additional on-site features include a professional photographer with free downloadable photos 24 to 28 hours after the event, a DonutNV food truck, a DJ at the post-race gathering, a visit from a special character, and allowance of jogging strollers.
