Elf 'N' Cocoa 8K/5K & 1 Mile Fun Run : West Deptford NJ
The Elf 'N' Cocoa event takes place on December 6, 2026 at Riverwinds Community Center in West Deptford, New Jersey. It features three distances:
- 8K Race
- 5K Race
- 1 Mile Kids Fun Run
The 8K and 5K are chip timed and offer live results and awards. The paved course runs along waterfront areas with views of Philadelphia. Awards are given to top male and female finishers overall and to top finishers in age groups including 10 and under, 11–14, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39 and every 10 years after that. All finishers receive medals and a custom cocoa mug. Registered participants receive a cup of hot cocoa provided by Death of the Fox Coffee House.
The 1 Mile Kids Fun Run is a non timed course for children 14 and under. Kids receive a finisher medal and an Elf n Cocoa custom beanie when registered by 12/2. A non registered parent may join a child on the course and volunteers provide supervision.
Additional event notes include walkers being welcome in the 5K with prior registration, a professional photographer with free downloadable photos, a food truck serving donuts and coffee, a DJ at the post race area, jogging strollers permitted, dogs not permitted, and the race held rain or shine with no refunds or transfers.
