adidas Stockholm Marathon 2027
The adidas Stockholm Marathon is scheduled for 29 May 2027 and is marked as sold out. The race covers a distance of 42 195 meters and runs on a city course that starts on Östermalm and finishes on Stockholm Stadion, the 1912 Olympic venue. The route passes through Vasastan, Kungsholmen by the water, the area around Stockholm City Hall, Gamla Stan near the Royal Palace, Djurgården and Södermalm before returning to the stadium.
Service on the course includes water and sports drink stations, and selected stations offer additional energy such as Enervit sport drink (orange), bananas, gels, coffee, broth, soda and pickled cucumber. Pacemakers are provided for a range of target finish times between 3:00 and 5:45. Live results and split times are available during the race. There is massageservice at Östermalms IP, first aid at start, finish and some aid stations, on-site entertainment and speaker activity, and transport vehicles for runners who must abandon the race.
Participants receive a finisher t-shirt from adidas and an annual Stockholm-themed medal. Warm showers, recovery drinks and snacks are provided in the finish area, and a personal diploma is available online. Entry is personal and binding; registration and fee structure vary over time, with published price steps ranging from 1295 SEK to 1995 SEK depending on registration period. Only runners born in 2009 or earlier are eligible for the 2027 edition. The event is organised by Hässelby SK and Spårvägens FK and any surplus returns to sport.
