Stockholm Marathon
adidas Stockholm Marathon is scheduled for 29 May 2027 with start and finish at Stockholm Stadion, Lidingövägen. The race distance is 42 195 meters. The course starts on Östermalm and leads through Vasastan, Kungsholmen and past Stockholms stadshus, continues via Gamla Stan and the royal palace area, runs through Djurgården and Södermalm, and returns to finish on Stockholm Stadion, the arena for the 1912 Olympic Games.
Registration information for 2027: entries are currently closed and will reopen on 24 August. The organiser states that 4,000 places remain available. There are four price periods with increasing fees: 1295 SEK, 1495 SEK, 1795 SEK and 1995 SEK according to the date of registration. Accepted payment methods include internet bank transfer, Visa, MasterCard, Swish and invoice via Klarna. Participants must be born in 2009 or earlier.
Pre-race services include an expo with bib pickup open Thursday to Saturday and a pasta party on Friday. During the race there are pacemakers for a range of target times, service stations serving water and sports drink and selected stations offering Enervit products, bananas, gels, coffee, broth and snacks. The event provides live split times, massage service, first aid at key points, music and speakers, and transport for runners who must withdraw. Wheeled devices are not allowed except registered racing wheelchairs. Prize money and competition rules follow the organiser and athletics federation regulations.
