Stillwater Half Marathon - May 23, 2026
The event on May 23, 2026 includes three distances: a half marathon, a 10K and a 5K. Courses use fully paved local trails: the Gateway Trail and Brown's Creek Trail for the longer distances, with 5K runners starting on the Millbrook Trail before merging with the other routes. The finish is in Pioneer Park on the bluff overlooking downtown Stillwater and the St. Croix River.
All three courses are USATF sanctioned and certified. Timing is provided by Mtec Results and participant tracking is available through the Run Stillwater app. The event offers bag drop at each start, staffed water stations, restroom facilities at the starts and at about two mile intervals, and pacers for half marathon runners. Finish line provisions include recovery food and beverages, a selfie clock showing name and time, and free race photos available after the event.
Packet pickup and in-person registration are scheduled the day before and on race morning at the Water Street Inn in Stillwater. Shuttle buses transport runners to remote start locations and bus transport to starts is required; buses are labeled by distance. Registered runners may use shower facilities at River Valley Athletic Club after the race. Additional participant items listed by the organizer include gender-specific shirts, collectible finisher medals, personalized bibs, keepsake age group awards, and a Lift Bridge Brewing Company beverage offer for participants.
