Steve Snider It's a Beautiful Day 5K : Greensburg, PA
This Memorial Day 5k is organized in memory of a local coach and benefits scholarships and youth and community health and wellness. A portion of race proceeds will support the Greensburg Salem Education General Endowment and related local programs.
The event offers running and walking options on a course that runs through town, using both the 5-Star Trail and public roadways. The running course is entirely on road; the walking course includes trail segments. The route begins near Sunset Cafe and finishes at Offutt Field. Pets are not permitted.
Registration details are provided for the event dates. The registration fee is $30.00. Registration opens on 2026-02-26 and closes on 2026-05-15. Participants who register by 2026-05-01 are guaranteed a long-sleeved race shirt; late registrants receive shirts on a first-come, first-served basis. Refunds are not offered.
Awards are given for the run category only. Overall and age-group awards will be presented for runners, with cash prizes for the top three overall male and female finishers: $499 for first place, $250 for second place, and $100 for third place.
