Sterlingfast 5K
The Sterlingfast 5K is a community 5K run/walk held in Sterling Heights as part of Sterlingfest on July 25, 2026. The course follows Utica Road to the Sterling Heights Nature Center and returns to Dodge Park along the local bike path, offering a straightforward out and back route. The event is staged at Dodge Park.
Awards are presented overall and for the top three finishers in each age group. Post race snacks are provided and an adult beverage is available for participants over 21. A portion of event proceeds will support a memorial scholarship fund. Additional donations can be made during registration.
Registration details include an entry fee of $30 for advance registration and an increased fee of $40 for race day registration. Registration opens April 1, 2026 and closes June 29, 2026. Shirts are guaranteed to participants who register by July 13, 2026; availability may be limited for later registrants. Early packet pickup is available at Hansons Running Shop - Utica on the Friday before the race. Day of packet pickup takes place at the Dodge Park Farmers Market Pavilion on the event date.
